As May approaches, we’ve been on quite a diverse journey, visiting two very different locations and engaging in a range of activities, filming, towing and digging!

Mark Woolley travelled to South Africa to explore more routes for this year’s November tour, as well as for 2024. However, things didn’t go exactly as planned, and you can read more about his experience and watch a short clip of his mishap by clicking here.

We also made a stop at Thruxton, the fastest and one of the longest motor racing circuits in the UK, with an average speed of 90mph over a 2.4 mile lap. As our first circuit on the GT Classic race tour in October, we thought it was fitting to pay a visit and capture a few laps on film using an E-type. Check out what we got up to by clicking here.

In addition, Classic Grand Touring has launched a new YouTube account where we’ll be sharing various clips from our tours, recces, trips, and other exciting activities. So, please subscribe to our page to keep up with the latest updates.

As we look ahead to May, we’re excited to embark on a tour of Norfolk with some beautiful Bentleys, visiting significant locations in the marque’s history. In early June, we’ll also be heading to the Emerald Isle for another adventure.

Our tours to Chinon in June and Angouleme in September have already sold out, and we’re delighted to see such a high level of interest in the Le Mans Classic which is all but sold out. This year’s event is particularly special, as it marks the 100th anniversary of the Le Mans 24 Hour race.

Classic Grand Touring has also been selected as the official UK travel partner for the Circuit des Remparts, Angouleme. Mark Woolley expressed his excitement by stating “This is fantastic news for CGT and opens up a range of opportunities for future collaboration with this exceptional event. We want to thank Jean-Marc Laffont for putting his trust in us.”

We can’t wait to have you join us on at least one of our tours this year.
