UK to MONACO TOUR

OVERVIEW
What better way to travel to the world’s most glamourous historic motor racing event than a six-day tour through France to arrive in Monaco in time for the Historique weekend.
The tour consists of some great driving routes mainly on beautiful French D Roads, with overnight stops at four- and five-star hotels. Our route will drive through the Champagne region, and cross the beautiful Jura mountains and then into the Hautes-Alpes, before descending to the Mediterranean coast.
We have included a day of leisure at Lake Annecy to break your journey and allow you to time to relax and take in this incredible place.
This will be a journey not to forget, and one that will have you already having fun and establishing a firm set of friends, before our weekend of glamour and motor racing begins.

SATURDAY 4TH MAY 2024 - Folkestone to Hostellerie La Briqueterie

We will take a morning crossing on the Eurotunnel on a flexiplus basis and take the most direct route to our overnight hotel, the stunning Hostellerie La Briqueterie for welcome drinks and dinner in the restaurant with wine.
SUNDAY 5TH MAY 2024 - Hostellerie La Briqueterie to Le Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet

A fabulous drive today through the champagne region of France over 200 miles to Le Montrachet a great hotel in the tiny village of Puligny-Montrachet.
We will thread our way south through some of France’s scenic Parc’s of the Foret d’Orient and the Morvan region, through towns such as Bar-Sur-Seine, Montbard before a short stint on the motorway to get us to our beautiful hotel just outside the wine centres of Beaune and Meursault.
Dinner this evening will be in the hotel.
MONDAY 6TH MAY 2024 - Le Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet – Palace de Menthon, Lake Annecy

Today we will cross the beautiful Jura, skirt round the side of Geneva and the border of Switzerland and drop down to Lake Annecy, for two nights in one of the most beautiful places in France.
Located in the Haute-Savoie region, this perialpine lake is world famous for its translucent waters and fabulous surrounding town of Annecy with its beautiful buildings and canals.
And you can start your exploration of Annecy by dining in a restaurant of your choosing on your evening at leisure, and the fabulous Palace de Menthon hotel which we will stay at for two nights.

WEDNESDAY 8TH MAY 2024 - Palace de Menthon, Lake Annecy to Le Convent des Minimes Hotel and Spa

As we leave Annecy behind, we will continue to head south towards Monaco, spending the evening in the Hautes Alpes near the town of Forcalquier in the stunning Le Couvent Des Minimes Hotel and its great Spa by L’occitane.
Our journey of just under 200 miles will travel through the Bauges and Chartreuses Massifs and Parc du Vercors, punctuated by the towns of Montmelian and Grenoble.
We will drive the stunning D1075 road which carves its way through the Isere region of France and into the Hautes-Alpes and our hotel for a night of fun and hospitality in the restaurant at our five-star holt.

Today is the final leg of our journey to Monaco covering just 128 miles following a stunning route through the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and the famous Route Napoleon descending into Monaco, and ensuring we arrive it time for our fabulous weekend ahead at the Monaco Historique.

Booking your place on this event couldn’t be easier. The first step would be to click the “Enquire Now” button and complete the form, which gives us some basic details about yourself and your party.
We will then get in touch with you to confirm availability on the tour, we will send you a booking form to complete together with our deposit payment options so you can reserve your place on the tour.
As soon as the deposit has been processed we will send you a booking confirmation detailing what is included in your tour together with any extras you may have requested, your travel documents and the balance payment information.
You can secure a place on any of our tours, road trips or driving adventures with a deposit of just £500 per person. This can be paid by Stripe Online Payment, BACS transfer or by card over the phone if you prefer. There’s no need to worry about paying anything more until the final balance is due (usually around 8 weeks before we travel) and you’re welcome to pay your final before that date if preferred. On some of the bigger tours we do sometimes require an interim payment to make it a little easier to spread the cost, however, please note that if the event you wish to join is within the next 8 weeks, we will require the full payment to be made at the time of your booking.

MINIMUM NUMBERS
We have a minimum number of participants required for all of our events enabling them to be viable for us to run – this is usually 10 cars unless stated otherwise. In the event that we don’t reach the minimum numbers, the tour may be cancelled at which point your booking deposit will be refunded to you, or if preferred, allocated to another event of your choice.
