The Legacy of Bluebird Tour is more than a road journey to Britain’s most revered water-speed landmark; it is a pilgrimage into one of the most courageous and compelling chapters of British racing history. The experience culminates in the running of Bluebird K7 at her spiritual home on Coniston Water.
Beginning in Chelsea, where the Bluebird story first took flight, the journey continues to Brooklands Museum, the cradle of British speed where the first Bluebird car was christened, before reaching Coniston, where Donald Campbell CBE pursued his vision with unshakeable determination. Along the way, the tour celebrates the spirit of innovation, adventure and endurance that defined the Campbell family.
To stand lakeside at Coniston Water, among fellow enthusiasts and in the company of the Campbell family, is to share in a heritage that transcends motorsport. Through exclusive talks, private tours and privileged viewing of the Bluebird K7 runs as invited guests of the Ruskin Museum is history in the making.
A notable donation from every tour booking will directly support the ongoing preservation of Bluebird K7, ensuring her legacy endures for generations to come.
We have a minimum number of participants required for all of our events enabling them to be viable for us to run – this is usually 10 cars unless stated otherwise.
