| Dear Classic Grand Tourers,
We have some exciting news to share with you!
- We have launched new food tour division – Classic Grand Cru
- More 2025 events now available
- A great summer of events so far in 2024
We have launched a sister company to Classic Grand Touring called Classic Grand Cru, bringing you exclusive, curated food tours in selected cities around the world each year. We have mentioned this new development to some of you in the advanced planning stages and your reaction made us think we should get on and do it sooner rather than later. You can read more about Classic Grand Cru below… We are currently in the middle of a rather busy summer of events, whilst also focussing on finalising our 2025 calendar. We already have a number of 2025 events available as detailed below, as we find more and more people planning their lives at least twelve to eighteen months ahead. Our entire existence is based on bringing you fun-filled, high-quality adventures. Grand Cru is a French word meaning ‘great growth’. In culinary terms it is attached to products claiming high quality. As we grow, our commitment to quality, fun tours built on attention to detail, has never been stronger and we have never been more excited by what lies ahead… |

So far this summer, Classic GT have taken a fabulous group of 130 people to the Monaco Historique for a spectacular weekend of historic racing. Bookending the Historique were two week-long tours, one from the UK to Monaco and a return tour. In June a group of enthusiasts went to the Le Mans 24 Hour race to celebrate Bentley’s first win at the La Sarthe circuit 100 years ago! It was a fabulous week, highlighted by a great chateau stay and VIP treatment all weekend long at the circuit. The Chinon Classic Tour was followed days later by our Grand Tour of the Alps, a fabulous 12 days of touring through France, Italy and of course the incredible passes in Switzerland, staying in some of the best hotels and sampling amazing local cuisine and wines at almost every opportunity. |

2025 Calendar – Our 2025 calendar has already started to take shape, with our November Namibia Tour filling up within 24 hours with pre-registered participants. Our usual February Ice Driving groups are filling fast and we have less than a handful of spaces left on each of three spectacular tours planned for 2025 –
- The Tour of a Thousand Miles to Italy in May to celebrate the great Sir Stirling Moss setting the all-time record on the famous Mille Miglia race in 1955 in his 300SLR Mercedes – one of the greatest motorsport victories in history. We will take 11 days to drive this famous route, soaking up the best Italy has to offer.
- Our annual Le Mans Classic tour, offering you the best way of enjoying one of the world’s leading historic motor racing events, with a great tour and centre circuit parking and hospitality all weekend as well as close and convenient hotel location.
- And our USA Roadtrip – Our October tour, driven in a sports car or SUV which we will supply, is a two-week journey through western America covering some 1500 miles. Starting in San Francisco, we drive Highway 1 via Monterey, before continuing south and then east to Montecito and Riverside. Then it’s on to Las Vegas via the Mojave Desert before heading through Death Valley to the Yosemite National Park. We’ll end the tour back in San Fransisco, but not before spending a couple of days exploring Napa Valley. An adventure of high-end hotels, fabulous food, incredible places to visit, taking in American life, history and culture that you won’t want to miss!

As mentioned in the introduction, we have launched Classic Grand Cru, our new curated food tour division kicks off this autumn with our first tour to Venice. A three-day spectacular where we will fly you to Venice, accommodate you in a fabulous five-star hotel and then curate a food experience that will include a meal in a palace run by a sailor, visit a vineyard followed by a Michelin starred lunch, have a guided tour through a food market and an exclusive tour of the Basilica in St. Marks Square and transported from venue to venue in boats and gondolas. The tour is limited to just 8 couples and if you’re keen to join us, please see details by clicking the button below. As we continue to develop this brand, we will roll out further trips in 2025, across Seville, Marrakech, Venice, Lisbon, Vienna and Copenhagen. |
